LEWISTON – Teachers interested in pursuing literacy education at the Lewiston-Auburn campus of the University of Southern Maine are invited to attend an informational meeting from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14, in Room 170 at USM/L-A, 51 Westminster St.
Faculty and advising representatives will be present to discuss the program and answer questions. Light refreshments will be served. Anyone interested in attending is asked to call 753-6552 to register or obtain more information.
The University of Southern Maine/Lewiston-Auburn will also host an information session on Thursday, April 14, for the master of arts program in leadership studies.
The program is designed to enable working adults to pursue it on a part-time basis. Courses meet on a weekly basis and are scheduled in the late afternoon and evening. The information session will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at USM/L-A.
Anyone interested in attending is asked to call 753-6552 to register or for more information. Applications for the MLS program are being accepted on a rolling basis.
