The Twin Cities will offer two pre-Easter spring celebrations Saturday afternoon.

Both events are free and open to the public. Both run from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The Lewiston Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its 6th annual Easter egg hunt at the Lewiston Memorial Armory, 65 Central Ave.

It features egg hunts for children in preschool through fifth grade on the armory floor, as well as a book give-away, basketball hoops, beanbag toss, cookie decorating, face painting and a moonwalker. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Dave Dionne and Ed Morris of the Balloon Zoo.

Food will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will go to benefit the Lewiston High School track team.

Auburn Parks and Recreation is hosting its spring celebration at the Hasty Community Center gymnasium in Pettengill Park.

It features an egg spoon relay, cake walk, egg roll, egg toss and other games for kids 10 years old and younger; an egg matching game for candy and prizes for kids between the ages of 4 and 6; and a candy-filled egg search for kids between 1 to 3 years old.
