NORWAY – Ruth “Maude” N. Walker, 84, of Oxford died Wednesday, March 23, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.

She was born in Norway, on June 28, 1920, the daughter of Charles and Anna Morse. She attended Norway schools and had been a homemaker all of her life.

She married Eugene Walker, and he passed away on Sept. 30, 1966. She had been employed at Francine Shoe and Miller Shoe, retiring in 1976. She enjoyed reading and beano. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

She is survived by a son, Charles F. and his wife, Jody, of Live Oak, Fla.; a daughter, Susie Estes and her husband, Terry, of Franklin, N.H.; four grandchildren, Mary Ann Boothby of Brewer, Dennis Walker of Lawrenceville, Ill., Patty Whitman of Norway and Donald Fillebrown of Warner, N.H.; two stepgrandchildren, Felecia Williams of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., and Rachel Plymel of Live Oak, Fla.; and 10 great-grandchildren, Lenza Latendresse, Cody Walker, Chelsea Fillebrown, Ryan Boothby, Erika Whitman, Devin Fillebrown, Jennifer, Chris and Josh LaFollette and Hayden Plymel.
