BETHEL – The Western Maine Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network (a statewide organization for women in business) has announced an event to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at Janet Willie’s Therapeutic Massage, 18 High St.
The topic will be “Women’s Health from the Inside Out,” and presenters will include Cathy DiCocco, natural food chef; Karen Swanson, yoga instructor; Mariel Geiger, independent researcher; and Janet Willie, massage therapist.
The network is a resource for women as they build professional and personal partnerships and designed to create a professional environment for all women to become more effective in the business world through networking, education and connections with community resources.
The Western Maine Chapter, formed a year and a half ago, has been holding monthly events in the Oxford Hills area that have attracted hundreds of women. “We are delighted to have women from Bethel invite the Women’s Network to host an event,” commented co-chairwoman Mariel Geiger.
The event is open to all women. The cost will be $5 and will include speakers as well as refreshments and time for networking with other women in business in Western Maine.
