LEWISTON – Normand R. Cote, 70, formerly of 172 Bates St., Lewiston, died Tuesday evening, March 22, at Ste. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.

He was born May 28, 1934, in Lewiston, a son of Adolphe and Alice (Cote) Cote. He attended St. Peter’s School in Lewiston and later served in the National Guard for nine years.

He owned and operated Cote Construction and later worked for Hebert Construction. He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish. His hobbies included watching sports, model trains and coin collecting.

Survivors include his sisters, Priscilla “Pat” Dubois and Theresa “Terry” Cote, both of Lewiston; brothers, Robert, Jean-Paul and Jean-Louis Cote, all of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Adrien Cote.
