LEWISTON – Arthur E. Grady, 74, of 14 Raspberry Hill Road, Mechanic Falls, died Sunday, March 27, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family following a short illness.

He was born Aug. 3, 1930, in Auburn, the son of Agnes Evelyn Maxim and Ernest Grady. He lived in Mechanic Falls for the past 33 years following a 23-year career in the Navy. He was a member of Our Lady of Ransom Church. He has been an active member of the Lions Club, a past district governor for District 41-L and former president and current treasurer of the Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland Lions Club.

Surviving is his wife of 47 wonderful years, Jeanne (Parent) Grady; one son, Paul Grady of Springfield, Va.; three grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathon and Rebecca Grady, also of Springfield, Va.; and one brother, Edwin Grady of Tucson, Ariz.
