RICHMOND, Va. – Lawrence Richard Bryant, 59, of Cape Charles, Va., died Wednesday, March 16, in Richmond, Va.

He was a native of Mechanic Falls; the son of the late J. Guy Bryant and Ethel Groves Bryant. He was a self-employed truck driver.

He was educated in and graduated from Mechanic Falls schools.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Crumb Bryant; seven children, Mary Ann Cox and husband, Marshall, of Eastville, Va., Charles DeMarino and wife, Marie, of Oyster, Va., Mark DeMarino and wife, Sherri, of Cheriton, Va., Edward Bryant of Portland, Rich Bryant and wife, Sue, of Biddeford, Linda Bryant Gallagher and husband, Doug, of Kennebunk and Brock Bryant of Portland; three brothers and two sisters, John Bryant and wife, Charlotte, of Buxton, Dorothy Bryant Witham of New Gloucester, Betty Bryant Witham and husband, Harold, of New Gloucester, Robert Bryant and wife, Effie, of Mechanic Falls and David Bryant and wife, Sue, of Sumner; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one sister, Arlene Bryant Choate of Winthrop.
