RANGELEY – Paul F. Jaffarian, 46, of Atkinson, N.H., died suddenly Saturday, April 2, in Rangeley.

Born in Methuen, Mass., and raised in Haverhill, Mass., he was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1976 where he was a member of the ski team.

He was a partner in the operation of Jaffarian Volvo and Toyota of Haverhill, Mass., and was the former manager of the parts and service department for 31 years. He was currently the president of P.P.M. Enterprises of Rangeley.

A member of St. Gregory Armenian Apostolic Church, North Andover, Mass., he was also a member of the Atkinson Country Club, the Rangeley Snowmobile Club and the Haverhill Lodge of Elks.

An accomplished golfer, he shot a hole-in-one at Mingo Springs Golf Club in Rangeley. He was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, skiing and snowmobiling as well as all beach activities, including wave-running, diving and water skiing.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Patricia (Stepanian) Jaffarian; two daughters, Megan Belair of Haverhill, Mass., and Michele Jaffarian of Atkinson, N.H.; his parents, Richard and Myda (Hertigan) Jaffarian of Haverhill, Mass.; two brothers, Gary Jaffarian of Newburyport, Mass., and Mark Jaffarian of Haverhill, Mass.; a grandson, Isaiah Cassell of Haverhill, Mass.; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
