RUMFORD – All-terrain vehicle trails and access routes are temporarily closed due to saturated soils and by order of the River Valley Riders ATV Club and the landowner. The trails are expected to reopen Sunday, May 15. Riders are asked not to use the trails until they are reopened. Artists painting

RUMFORD – Pennacook Art Center, 82 Congress St., will present a Wet Paint Sale from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 8. People are invited to watch artists working at their easels in the gallery and to buy a painting to take home with the paint still wet. All artwork created during the evening will be for sale.

Extension trip

PERU – The Peru Extension will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Peru School. A trip is planned to a maple sugarhouse.

It is recommended to wear suitable footwear. Plans are being made for lunch at a restaurant.
