JAY – The annual missions conference of the Bean’s Corner Baptist Church will be held Saturday through Tuesday, April 9 to 12.

Featured speakers at the conference, which is based on the theme, “Grow Something New,” will be the Rev. Robert L. d’Entremont of Christian Life Ministries, the Rev. Paul Bothwell of Misson to the Americas and Lindsay Mayer of Bible Visuals International.

The conference will begin at a teen festival at 6 p.m. Saturday with pizza, the band, Equal Access, and Mayer as guest speaker.

D’Entremont will speak at the 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday services, as well as the teen and adult Sunday school class at 9:15 a.m.

He is founder and president of Christian Life Ministries and is a frequent speaker at churches on spiritual growth topics.

Bothwell will be the featured speaker at the 7 p.m. services Monday and Tuesday. He and his wife, Jan, serve in urban ministries in the Boston area with Mission to the Americas.

Mayer, in addition to speaking at the teen festival, will lead sessions for children at each of the services throughout the conference. She works with Bible Visuals International from its base in Pennsylvania.

Other events include a missions dinner at 6 p.m. Monday, a men’s breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church and a women’s tea at 9 a.m. at the home or Arlene Jackson on Borough Road.
