PORTLAND (AP) – Chris Durbin homered, Hanley Ramirez tripled and Jared Sandberg doubled as the Portland Sea Dogs defeated the Norwich Navigators 7-4 on Saturday.

Durbin’s homer and Sandberg’s double were the key hits as the Sea Dogs (3-0) broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning to take command of the game. Ramirez also scored three runs and drove in a pair.

Tyler Von Schell homered for Norwich while A.J. LaBarbera drove in two runs.

After singles by Sandberg and David Murphy sparked a pair of Portland runs in the bottom of the third, the Navigators came back with a run in the fifth and tied it on Von Schell’s solo homer in the sixth.
