La PUENTE, Calif. – Julien L. P. Robitaille, 62, of La Puente, Calif., died on Tuesday, March 22, following a long illness.

He was born in Lewiston, June 5, 1942, the son of the late Leo and Jeannette (Ruel) Robitaille. He attended Holy Cross School, was an altar server and also attended St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Sherbrooke, Canada.

He was a gentle, caring and loving man who was always devoted to his family first and foremost. He loved making crossword puzzles and kept his great sense of humor even during the difficult times.

Before moving to California, he worked for many years at Screen Printing on Bartlett Street in Lewiston.

He is survived by his wife, Marie (Beland); son, Brian and his wife, Sandi; granddaughter, Ashley; son, James and his companion, Elizabeth, both of La Puente, Calif.; three sisters, Joan Roy of Lewiston, Sister Gertrude Robitaille, P.M. of Biddeford Pool, and Claire and husband, Raymond Therriault, of Lewiston; three brothers, Conrad and his wife, Michelle, of Lewiston, Armand of Berlin, Conn. and Bertrand and his wife, Diane, of Lisbon; and many nieces and nephews.
