PORTLAND (AP) – Dustin Pedroia’s bases-loaded double broke a 2-2 tie and drove in the game-winning run as the Portland Sea Dogs beat the Harrisburg Senators 5-4 Thursday in the Eastern League.

Juan Lorenzo and Edgar Gonzalez homered in Harrisburg’s loss.

The Senators (8-7) had a 2-0 lead after their half of the third inning. Key hits were Lorenzo’s solo homer in the second and Melvin Nieves’ RBI double in the third.

Portland starter Kason Gabbard (3-0) allowed two runs over five innings to earn the win, while Cla Meredith posted his seventh save. Donnie Bridges (1-1) took the loss.
