DURHAM – Neither driver was injured when a car and a dump truck collided on Route 125 at the entrance to Tupper’s gravel pit late Friday morning.

Deputy Sheriff Randy Williams said Michael Skehan, 27, of Lisbon was driving north rounding a curve and Arthur Williams, 33, of Phippsburg was approaching with the dump truck from the opposite direction, turning in to the pit entrance.

Skehan’s 2004 Ford was totalled, Williams said. He estimated damage at $2,000 to the 1998 International dump truck owned by R.A. Webber and Sons of Harpswell.
