LEWISTON – Gerald G. Gagnon, 77, of 10 Oak Park, Lewiston, died Saturday, April 23, at d’Youville Pavilion.
Born in Lewiston on June 18, 1927, he was the son of Mathias and Blanche Longchamps.
He was employed at local grocery stores for many years.
He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Church.
He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus Council 106 and a life member of the 4th degree Wallace Assembly. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Philippines.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Boisvert Gagnon; two sisters, Carmen Herbert of Lewiston, and Lucille Gagnon of Lewiston; four brothers, Normand Gagnon of Lewiston, Richard and his wife, Lily Gagnon, of Lewiston, Gilbert Gagnon of Lisbon, and Marcel and his wife, Rose Gagnon, of Springvale.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Florian, Laurier, and Jean Paul.
