LEWISTON – Roland L. Labbe, 84, of College Street, died Tuesday, April 19, at Montello Manor in Lewiston.

He was born in Lewiston, on Aug. 24, 1920, the son of Jeremie and Laura Baudette Labbe, and attended schools there.

During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater.

Following the war, he worked in local shoe factories, retiring in 1991.

His interests included hunting and fishing.

Survivors include a son, Russell Labbe and his wife, Linda, of Ryegate, Vt.; a stepdaughter, Sandra Ann Cameron and her husband, Francis Jr., of Hampstead, N.C.; a sister, Jeanne LaChance of Lewiston; four grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis Graffam Labbe, and a son, Danny Labbe.
