LIVERMORE – Joan Vining Bryant, 58, of Livermore, died late Friday evening, April 22, at her home in Livermore, surrounded by her family.

She was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Farmington, a daughter of Jessie and Elizabeth (Hiscock) Vining. She attended school in Weld and Wilton.

On Feb. 22, 1964, she married Bertram Bryant. They made their home in Livermore where she worked as a homemaker and raised a family.

She enjoyed traveling, visiting family and friends, and playing with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Bertram, of Livermore; a son, Michael Bryant and his companion, Debbie Noll; three daughters, Laurie Gray and her husband, Shane, Debra Valeriani and Terri Singer and her partner, Karen L. Walsh; four sisters, Judy Lowell and her husband, George, Sandra Fish and her husband, Larry, Linda Hutchinson and her husband, Jan, and Janice Girardin and her husband, Edward; several brothers-and sisters-in-law; 10 grandchildren; and her beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Pepe.

She was predeceased by her parents; and an infant son, Bertram Bryant Jr.
