LEWISTON – Flora M. Lavoie, 82, of Lewiston, died Wednesday, April 27, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Minto, New Brunswick, on March 20, 1923, the daughter of Nazaire and Pauline (Richard) Richard.

On March 4, 1946, she married Ernest Lavoie, whom she made a home with for 58 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Parish. She enjoyed playing solitaire and watching western movies.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lorraine Colson and her husband, Herve, and Constance Cote and her husband, Joseph, all of Lewiston; two brothers, Theodore Richard of Westbrook and Lawrence Richard of Raymond; one sister, Louise Drew of Chicago, Ill.; one granddaughter, Mary and her husband, Scott, of Lewiston; and two great-granddaughters, Paige and Katelyn Gagnon.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Gerard and Leonard Richard; and one sister, Dorothy Lavoie.
