The following are to be arraigned on June 7 in Rumford District Court:

• Michael C. Dawson, 22, of Roxbury, on charges of illegal attachment of registration plates and operating after suspension, and an Androscoggin County warrant for illegal attachment of registration plates, 12:10 a.m. April 26 on Lincoln Avenue. He was also summoned for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a Schedule W drug. He was released on $250 unsecured bail.

• Alex Acosta, 22, of Rumford, on a charge of disorderly conduct, 10:10 a.m. April 26 on Cumberland Street. He was released on $500 unsecured bail.

• Jason Cole, 22, of Rumford, on a probation violation, 11:01 p.m. April 26 on Washington Street. He was taken to Oxford County Jail.

• Nicholas Shink, 26, of Mexico, on a charge of domestic assault, 3:35 p.m. April 28. He was released on $1,000 unsecured bail.

• Robert W. Gallant, 50, of Peru, on a charge of operating after suspension, 7:07 p.m. April 28 on Hancock Street. He was also summoned for possession of marijuana. He was released on $300 cash bail.

• James D. Irish, 21, of Peru, on charges of operating under the influence and operating after suspension, 1:39 a.m. April 29 on Lincoln Avenue. He failed to post either $500 cash bail or $1,000 surety bail and was taken to Oxford County Jail in Paris.

The following are to be arraigned on June 7 in Rumford District Court:

• Norman Johnson, 34, of Rumford, on a charge of possession of a usable amount of marijuana, on April 22 on Waldo Street.

• Eric Thibodeau, 31, of Mexico, on a charge of operating under the influence, on April 23 on Route 2.

• Russell Hamilton, 44, of Rumford, on a charge of violation of conditions of release, April 24 on Prospect Avenue.

• Corey Moore, 18, of Rumford, on a charge of criminal threatening, April 29 on Hancock Street.

Incidents

• April 26, 11 a.m. – A Rumford resident reported being the victim of identity theft. Police are investigating the alleged crime of someone using six of the resident’s checks to withdraw money electronically from a checking account.

• April 28, 5:35 a.m. – A Mountain Valley High School custodian requested assistance to remove a beaver that had climbed onto the loading docks. Officers James Bernard and Scott Mills responded and “escorted the beaver back to the woods,” said Detective Lt. Stacy Carter.
