Scott’s Emulsion is cod liver oil prepared as a food – not a food like bread or meat, but more like cream; in fact it is the cream of cod liver oil. At the same time it is a blood-maker, a nerve tonic and a flesh-builder. But principally it is food for tired and weak digestions, for all who are fat-starved and thin. It is pleasant to take; children like it and ask for more.

Six Sebago Lake summer cottages were flattened today by a woods blaze which three fire departments quelled after a two-hour fight. New construction costs in Lewiston dropped drastically during April, according to figures released Thursday by the city’s Building Inspection Department, reflecting a national economy that is sick with the inflation bug. Statistics maintained at the department show that in April 1979, 96 building permits were issued representing $714,550 that was invested in new construction. However, last month only 82 permits were issued valued at $194,514 in new construction – a difference of $520,036.
