FARMINGTON – Mt. Blue Theatre Company’s final production of the season will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 5, 6, and 7, in Mt. Blue High School auditorium.

The production, “The Pink Panther Strikes Again,” by William Gleason, is the story of one of the world’s most bumbling detectives, Inspector Clouseau, played by Isaac Raymond, who unwittingly fights for his life and the future of all mankind as he battles against Paul Dreyfus, played by Hal Robbins, once his long-suffering boss, now turned into a raving lunatic.

Dreyfus holds the world at bay with the ultimate weapon, the “Doomsday Machine,” invented by Dr. Henrietta Fassbender, played by Jaime Dalrymple. Clouseau, blissfully ignorant of all the assassins (Lawrence Wilde, Joe Rollins, Mike Adams, Hannah Sloane-Barton, Sarah Melanson and Danielle McDonald, to name a few) after him or of the beautiful Russian spy played by Justina Huddleston who seeks him, incredibly manages to escape every attack. However, he’s running out of time as the increasingly frustrated Dreyfus is running our of patience. Will Inspector Clouseau save the world?

The theatre company invites the public to see the madcap hilarity as the large cast of young performers round out their high school theater season. Tickets are $4.50 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.
