• Daniel P. Farrell, 43, of Whittermore Road, Dixfield, was arrested at his home at 8:30 p.m, May 1, on charges of illegal possession of a firearm and criminal threatening. He was taken to Oxford County jail, then released on personal recognizance on May 3. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on July 19.

• Dana Gross, 20, of Dunston Street, Rumford, was summoned at 5:10 p.m. April 20 on charges of operating an all-terrain vehicle on a public way and operating an unregistered ATV. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on June 7.

• Jason W. Berube, 34, of Dixfield, was summoned at 3:25 a.m. April 21 on Third Street, on charges of illegal attachment of vehicle registration plates and failure to produce evidence of insurance. He is scheduled to appear in 11th District Court, Northern Oxford Division, on June 7.

Accidents

• Glenn C. Gurney, 51, of Dixfield, struck a deer on the Canton Point Road at 6:15 p.m. April 22. About $1,200 damage was sustained by his 2004 GMC pickup truck.

• Jocelyne Lafond, 23, of Kingsey Falls, Quebec, struck a black bear on Route 2 at 10:45 p.m. April 27. She was driving a tractor-trailer from Cascade Transport Inc. in Kingsey Falls.
