The St. Dominic Regional High School Math Team competed in the State Math Meet on Tuesday, April 12. After finishing first in the Pine Cone League for division C, they came in 5th at the state meet with a total score of 385 points. High scorers included Becky Lewis (46 points), Dan Bouttenot (43 points), David Chamberlain (39 points), and Charlie Poulin (29 points). Other members who attended the state meet were Kyle Levasseur, Katie St. Pierre, Sean Lawlor, Sasha Pavlak, Carla Henault, and Zach Olbrych. The coaches, Mrs. Girouard and Mrs. Brush, are very happy with the students’ performance all year long. They worked very hard, practicing 4 days a week most weeks, and their hard work paid off. You can expect to see the math team back again in full force next year competing, learning, and just having fun!
