AUBURN – The first of two fishing derbies sponsored by the Auburn Parks and Recreation Department and Auburn Exchange Club, is scheduled for Saturday, May 7 at Pettengill Park Pond. This segment of the the annual Auburn Youth Fishing Derby involves youngsters ages 9-15. Action will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 11:00.

The second derby, May 14, is designed for those ages 3-8. Times are the same.

Entry fee is $2. Awards will be presented immediately following each derby. Trophies in each division will be given to largest trout, total weight, total length and the first and last fish caught. A concession stand will be available.
