AUBURN – Billy and Suzanne Brown of Auburn were honored on Jan. 2 at a surprise party on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. Party hosts were James and Sara Ferrari and the event was held at the Ground Round Restaurant.
The banquet room was decorated with silver and white balloons, along with banners, pictures and many 25th anniversary keepsakes. A colorful array of fresh flowers was featured at the head table. The couple received a corsage and boutonniere and also received many gifts from family and friends.
Mr. Brown and the former Suzanne Roy were married on Jan. 4, 1980, at Ft. Leonardwood in Missouri. They have three children, Billy Harper of Munice, Ind., Jonathan Brown of Auburn and Sara Ferrari of Auburn.
Mrs. Brown has been employed at the P.W. Sugg Middle School for the last eight years. Prior to that she was raising her children.
Mr. Brown has been employed at Sears for the last 20 years.
