PORTLAND – Anita C. Leclair, 64, of 154 Meadowview Park, Lewiston, died Saturday, May 7, at Maine Medical Center after a four-month illness.
She was born in Lewiston, Dec. 22, 1940, the daughter of Rosaire and Doris Leblond Galarneau. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Lewiston High School.
She married Marcel R. Leclair on June 8, 1957.
She was employed for 10 years at Crest Shoe Co., and later as a dietitian’s aide at Campus Cuisine and St. Mary’s Hospital.
She was a member of Holy Family Parish.
She enjoyed knitting, playing cards and beano with friends, traveling and her trips to Foxwoods. She was devoted wife and mother and a dear friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of Lewiston; her son, Michael of Jacksonville, Fla.; her father of Lewiston; and an aunt, Georgette Gagne, of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her mother in 1998.
