Tony takes a tumble
Syndicated talk show host Tony Danza had a close call of the go-cart kind yesterday during a segment of “The Tony Danza Show. In a race with Rusty Wallace, T.D., 54, lost control of his vehicle when the 55-time NASCAR circuit winner gave him a “bump and run,” causing T.D.’s go-cart to flip over. An e-mail from a “Danza rep says, “Although slightly worse for wear, Danza escaped with no injuries.” It does note that the former “Taxi ” star was in the lead when Wallace bumped him.

Jen expecting – with Ben
The Internet was all a-buzz on Saturday with the news that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck (but mostly Jennifer Garner) are apparently expecting their first child.
Citing various sources close to the secretive Garfleck duo, E! News is reporting that Garner is three months pregnant, a revelation that comes just weeks after reports began circulating that Affleck had popped the question and that the couple was engaged.
The tentative timeframe for Garner’s alleged pregnancy would give the “Alias” star a November due date. The ABC spy drama has already been picked up for next season and even if production is delayed and “Alias” is slated for another late start (the series premiered in January this season), the centrality of Garner’s navel and abs to most of her character’s costume choices could suddenly become complicated.
Garner and Affleck, an Oscar-winning screenwriter, co-starred in the 2003 film “Daredevil,” but didn’t make their first public appearance as a couple until last year’s World Series. Affleck is said to have proposed to Garner during a recent 33rd birthday gala he threw for her.
Representatives for the couple have yet to follow Hollywood protocol by making statements about the possible child to “Access Hollywood” or “Entertainment Tonight” and all signs are that both thespians will keep up with their busy schedules. Garner, currently on her “Alias” hiatus, will shoot the romantic drama “Catch and Release” with Timothy Olyphant, while Affleck is still trying to cast “Gone, Baby, Gone,” which will be his directorial debut.
This would be the first time that either actor has made their DNA available for future generations. Garner was previously married to “Felicity” co-star Scott Foley and dated “Alias” co-star Michael Vartan after her 2003 divorce. Affleck had long-term relationships (but no marriages) to “Bounce” and “Shakespeare in Love” co-star Gwyneth Paltrow and “Gigli” and “Jersey Girl” co-star Jennifer Lopez.

Britney eating herself silly
NEW YORK (AP) – Britney Spears is enjoying her pregnancy.
“Eating for two is so much fun; I get to eat lots and lots!” the 23-year-old singer says in a posting on her Web site.
Spears, who announced her pregnancy last month, said she and husband Kevin Federline “ate at some amazing restaurants in Scottsdale” during a “peaceful and relaxing” two-week vacation in Arizona.
She also plugs the couple’s new reality series, “Britney and Kevin: Chaotic.”
Featuring what UPN bills as “exclusive, never-before-seen private home videos they shot themselves during their courtship, engagement and wedding,” the six-episode series will premiere May 17 (9 p.m.).
“Doing a documentary series seemed like the last thing I would do,” Spears writes. “… And putting ourselves out there seemed crazy, but that is exactly when I realized I should do it. The craziest things I’ve ever done have always been for the best.”
The pop star said she didn’t do the series for her career.
“So much happened last year much too fast and I really wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to reflect on all of it. It’s like my own therapy. I hope you guys enjoy our little project! We are having so much fun putting it all together.”
Spears and Federline were married in September.
Margaritaville – Sirius-ly
Sirius is adding another luminary to its personality-driven lineup as singer Jimmy Buffett brings his Radio Margaritaville to the satellite radio’s programming, the company announced Monday.
The channel, available online since 1998 as streaming media from www.radiomargaritaville.com, will provide safe haven for Parrotheads on land and sea – in its announcement, Sirius notes that satellite receivers are available for boats as well as cars.
Margaritaville will play Buffett’s favorite country, rock and pop artists, as well as his own music. It will broadcast live on a regular basis from Buffett’s Margaritaville restaurants in Orlando, Key West and elsewhere. (This is a man who knows how to work a franchise.)
“We designed Radio Margaritaville after the old pirate radio stations that sat offshore and played what they wanted,” Buffett said in the news release. Margaritaville will replace Sirius’s Vacation channel, number 97 on your satrad dial.
