I am writing in response to Daniel Coulombe’s letter titled “Inclusion” published on May 6. In answer to his last question, “Is the Unitarian Church the only denomination that embraces inclusion rather than judgment?”

I would like to communicate that about 15 months ago, members of the United Methodist Church of Auburn voted to become a reconciling congregation, inclusive and welcoming to all.

We continue to strive to live up to this commitment to be a church characterized by “Open Hearts, Open Minds and Open Doors.”
