WATERVILLE – Jeannette G. Desveaux, 77, of Winslow, passed away on Saturday, May 7, at Oak Grove Rehabilitation and Living Center in Waterville, after a short illness.

She was born on July 2, 1927, in Waterville, the daughter of George and Rosanna (Cliche) Bourque. She was educated in Waterville schools and worked at McClellan’s and New England Telephone.

On July 4, 1960, she married Charles P. (Phil) Desveaux and moved to Rumford, where they resided until 1990, when they moved to Winslow.

She was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church in Winslow.

She is survived by her husband and daughter, Jeanne, both of Winslow; two brothers, Armand Bourque and his wife, Vida, of Winslow, and Raymond (John) Bourque and his wife, Ruth, of Waterville; two sisters, Mrs. Rene (Theresa) Guite, and Mrs. Albert (Jackie) Charron, both of Waterville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son, George; her parents; five brothers; and four sisters.
