LISBON – Folk artist Daniel Jacobs and friends will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at a special Lisbon Teen Center Coffee House event. The program will start at 7 p.m. with David Smith.

Jacobs, a singer and guitarist, has studied jazz guitar and classical guitar, the latter including living and studying with musical masters in Brazil. He also has studied the sitar and tabla in India, Andean folk music in Ecuador and Peru, Indonesian music in Bali and Ghanaian rhythms in Oregon and California, according to his Web site, www.danieljacobsmusic.com.

Featured at the regular Teen Center Coffee House Wednesday, May 18, will be ukulele player Mary Hargraves and folk artist Martin Swinger.
