Could anyone with an open mind require more proof of the need for the new anti-discrimination law addressing gay and lesbian basic rights than the continuous, discriminatory and – in my view – un-Christian efforts to overturn the law? This strident anti-gay chorus from the far-right Christians should bolster the claims of everyday discriminatory practices voiced by the very group the law seeks to protect.
