AUGUSTA – Ellen Louise Harris Gosselin, 61, of Pine Ridge Road, Windsor, died Thursday, May 12, at MaineGeneral Medical Center, following a brief illness.

She was born in Monmouth, on March 30, 1944, a daughter of the late Ronald W. and Germaine (Lachapelle) Harris. She was a graduate of Monmouth Academy, Class of 1962.

She had been employed by Carlton Woolen Mills for several years and most recently was employed at the Maine Veterans Home in Augusta.

She liked to cook and do crafts, knit, and work in her flower garden.

She is survived by her son, Anthony R. Gosselin and his wife, Kim, of Bordentown, N.J.; her daughter, Sara Nicole Gosselin of Windsor; her longtime companion, Dana Colby Ashline, of Windsor; a brother, Roger Harris and his wife, Patricia, of Monmouth; three sisters, Marie Fisher and her husband, Richard Merrill, of Winthrop, Roxanne Ridlon and her husband, Hubert, of Florida, and Jeanne Hatch of Monmouth; as well as several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Shadow.
