NORTH ANSON – Danielle Gray fired a no-hitter and fanned 13 batters to lead Livermore Falls to a 12-0 triumph over Carrabec in MVC softball action Monday.
Gray, who issued just one walk, helped herself at the plate with three RBIs. Hillary Hemminger also chipped in with three RBIs. Kristi Allen, Erica Gats and Cassandra Purington had two hits apiece for the Andies (4-7).
Carrabec (1-10) was hurt by eight errors.
Lewiston 10, Morse 7
BATH — Ali Coleman had a triple and a two RBI doubles to lead Lewiston to a 10-7 victory over Morse.
Amanda Michaud notched the mound win for the Blue Devils (6-5), pitching two scoreless innings in relief of starter Danielle Willey. Melissa Lacroix smacked a solo home run and Maria Labbe knocked in a run to help Lewiston edge Morse.
Jill Henrikson pitched a complete game for the Shipbuilders (3-7) in the loss, giving up 11 hits and 10 runs.
Mountain Valley 5, Monmouth 3
MONMOUTH — Abbey Mills scattered two hits and three runs to lift Mountain Valley to a 5-3 upset victory over Monmouth in an MVC softball game Monday.
Kelly Palmer sparked the Falcons’ (2-7) with two hits, including a double. Kristen Arsenault also had two hits for Mountain Valley while Mills and Kelly Bernard had a single apiece.
The Mustangs (9-1) dropped their first game of the season.
ay 15, Georges Valley 3
NEWCASTLE – Sara Fetterhoff doubled home a pair of runs during an eight-run eruption in the fourth inning to spark unbeaten Jay to a 15-3 triumph over Georges Valley.
Bri Loon and the Bucs’ Heather Watts were engaged in a tight 3-0 game before the Tigers (9-0) took command in the fourth. Desiree Castonguay led the offense with three hits, while Fetterhoff, Loon and Kaylie Dimillo had two hits apiece.
The Bucs (6-3) scored all three runs in the fifth inning. Loon, who fanned seven, limited them to three hits.
St. Dom’s 13, NYA 1
AUBURN — Emily Goss held the opposition to three hits and one walk to lead St. Dom’s to a 13-1 rout of NYA in WMC softball action Monday.
Goss (7-0) finished with six strikeouts. Laura Robitzek led the Saints (8-0) with a three-run triple and also scored a run.
Allie Tocci’s double was the lone extra base hit for the Panthers (3-5).
Lincoln 9, Oak Hill 2
WALES — Nicole Russell went the distance for Lincoln Academy in a 9-2 victory over Oak Hill.
Russell scattered seven hits and allowed only two runs to earn the pitching win for the Eagles (6-4). Niki Poland smacked a two-run double, while Heather Alley, Alex Wajer and Cassie Berry each went 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Sarah Radovich was the losing pitcher for the Raiders (2-8).
JLisbon 17, Hall-Dale 5
LISBON – Soleil Mathieu poked three hits and added three RBIs to help Lisbon roll to a 17-5 triumph over Hall-Dale.
The Greyhounds (9-4) scored 11 runs in the final two innings to finish things after six innings. Gabrielle Mathieu, Kelly Campbell, Nikki Strople and Emily Moore all chipped in with two singles apiece.
Lisbon’s Jen Hogan struck out two and scattered eight hits for the win.
Messalonskee 6, EL 3
OAKLAND – Ashley Currier pounded out two hits and had the lone extra base hit of the game to lead Messalonskee past Edward Little 6-3.
Currier was responsible for two of the three hits the Eagles had on the evening, including a double. Amanda Barker picked up her ninth win of the season allowing six hits, two walks and notching three strikeouts for Messalonskee.
Katelyn Chamberlain took the loss for the Red Eddies (2-9) despite allowing only three hits on the afternoon. Allie and Christie Sasser combined for four hits and each scored a run for EL.
