LEWISTON – Marjorie L. Teri-Savage, 78, a resident of Eaton Road, Wales, formerly of New Hartford, Conn., died Wednesday, May 18, in Lewiston, after a one-day stay at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born July 2, 1926, in Southbury, Conn., the daughter of Harry and Jennie (Norman) House. She attended schools in Connecticut.

On March 9, 1950, in Brewster, N.Y., she married George W. Teri-Savage; he passed away in December 1989.

She was a housewife, mom and a fabulous grandmother. She enjoyed bird watching, plants and was an all-around nature lover.

She is survived by her companion, Philip Vatcher, of Wales; a son, John M. Teri-Savage and his wife, Marjorie A., of Canton, Conn., and their children, John M. II, Nathan C. Teri-Savage and fiance, Karen Demichele, and Sherry Savino and her husband, Steve; two daughters, Karen Carey and her fianc, Dan Holbrook, of Torrington, Conn., and her children, Dawn, David, Steve, Matthew, Christopher and Rick Schibi, Jennifer Wortman and her husband, David, and Marjorie Morton of Salt Lake City, Utah and her children, Monica, Miles, Nathan, Merideth and Melanie; 23 great-grandchildren; Philip Vatcher’s children, Richard Paul Vatcher and his wife, Rita, of Framingham, Mass., and their children, William and Margaret, Stephen Vatcher and his wife, Sue, of Lewiston and step-children, Amanda, Katie and Kristen, and Donna Vatcher of Wales and her children, Kimberly and Nicole; a great-grandson, Ian; a son, George Teri-Savage of Goshen, Conn.; an ex-daughter-in-law, Janice Teri-Savage of Deltona, Fla., whom she was very close to.

She was predeceased by a son, Mark Kim Teri-Savage, May 4, 1969.
