ACT invades Oxford

OXFORD – Late Model Sportsman drivers will take on the touring drivers of the American-Canadian Tour this evening at Oxford Plains Speedway.

It is the ACT’s lone visit to Oxford this year. Action starts at 6:30 p.m.

A regular feature on the OPS calendar since its return in 2001, the 100-lap feature has seen local drivers and ACT regulars split the six previous races.

Ryan Moore, Ricky Rolfe and Shawn Martin have won the checkered flag for the OPS regulars.

Martin is expected to contend once again, as are Ricky Morse, Carey Martin, Bill Childs Jr. and Jon Brill. Leading the ACT charge are points leader Cris Michaud, Dave Pembroke, Jean-Paul Cyr and Brent Dragon.

The evening’s festivities include a full slate of racing in Oxford’s other divisions.
