MONMOUTH – David and Roseanne Gelo of Wallingford, Conn., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Carrie-Anne Gelo of Meriden, Conn., to James Whitmore of Louisville, Ky., son of R. Peter and Constance Whitmore of Monmouth.
Miss Gelo is a 1990 graduate of Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, Conn., and a 1995 graduate of Central Connecticut State College with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. She is currently attending nursing school at Capital Community College in Hartford, Conn.
Mr. Whitmore is a 1988 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 1992 graduate of Norwich University in Northfield, Vt. He is employed as president/general manager of NAPA Louisville Distribution Center.
The wedding will be held at 4 p.m. on Aug. 6 at the First Congregational Church of Wallingford in Wallingford, Conn.
