PORTLAND – Nancy J. Cohen, 58, of Portland, died at Maine Medical Center in Portland, on May 20, after a brief illness.

She was born at Lynn, Mass., on Aug. 11, 1946, the daughter of Edward Cavanaugh and Evelyn (Downey) Cavanaugh.

She was a housewife for many years.

She married Stephen J. Cohen, who predeceased her on March 19, 2004.

She is survived by five sons, Stephen LaBossiere and wife, Rebecca, of Otisfield, Robert Collins of Sabattus, Michael Collins and wife, Becky, of Virginia, Joseph LeBlanc and wife, Crystal, of Portland, and stepson, Robert LaBossiere of Wakefield, Mass.; nine grandchildren, Sean Collins, Katelyn Collins, Kyleigh Collins, Kira Boulier, Robert Boulier, Timothy Boulier, Eric LeBlanc, Hunter LaBossiere and Carter LaBossiere; and one great-grandchild, Adriana Condon.
