LITCHFIELD – Robert “Joe” Willie Desrosiers, 65, went to the arms of God on Sunday, May 22, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on Nov. 9, 1939, in Lewiston, son of the late David and Jean Desrosiers.

He worked for Stratham Tire in Auburn for more than 20 years. He retired in 2003, due to illness.

He was a member of the ATV Club of Greene and attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Litchfield. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling and woodworking. He didn’t need a reason to love, it just came naturally.

He is survived by his soul mate of 15 years, Pauline Corriveau, of Litchfield; two sons, Mike Desrosiers of Hebron, and Brian and his wife, Tammy Desrosiers, of North Norway; his grandchildren, Thomas of Auburn and Jonathan of Hebron; his extended family, Donna and Gerard Mathieu of Sabattus, Denise and her husband, Mark Mcallister, of Waterford, Norman Morin Jr., and Ellen Brag of Buckfield, and Arthur and his wife, Cindy Morin, of Greene; his stepgrandchildren, Paul and his wife, Dianta Mathieu, James and soul mate, Nicole, Felicia Starbaird, Morgan and Courtney Mcallister of Waterford, Travis Morin of Greene; a very special great-granddaughter, Brea-Lynn Mathieu; three sisters, Anita Desrosiers, Cecile Morin and Loretta; a special friend, Rocky, his dog; Maxine and Yvon Corriveau of Gilead; a niece, Madge Huff and husband, Bob; and his nephew, Dick Desrosiers.

He was predeceased by a brother, David.
