As I sit here and wait for day,
which is a far way away.
As I wait for night to leave,
I give my heart one last heave.
The time seems to drag by so slow,
as I wait to yell Woo!
Finally, at last it is here,
night has gone and day will appear.
The time is almost there,
as I start pulling out my hair.
Just turned twelve years old you see,
I am as old as old can be.
My sister is unaware,
as she hugs her teddy bear.
Now I am over the hill,
but all I feel is one cold chill,
and a little tired.
