PHILLIPS – Beatrice Gertrude Jepson, 76, of Phillips, died Wednesday, May 25, at her home in Phillips following a long illness.

She was born April 13, 1929, in Phillips, the daughter of Otto and Hortence (Voter) Haley. She was educated in the schools of Phillips, graduating from Phillips High School, Class of 1947.

She married Charles Jepsen, Oct. 1, 1949, in Phillips.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mexico. She enjoyed gardening, berrying, flowers, bird-watching and playing the piano. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.

She moved from Mexico to Phillips in 1986.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Jepson, of Phillips; two daughters Rosalie Lavoie and husband, Andre, of Nashua, N.H., and Lorna Storer and friend, Mathew Haggan, of Phillips; grandson, Jeremy Storer of Augusta; granddaughter, Heather Storer of Lewiston; and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Luke Lavoie.
