LISBON – The Lisbon Teen Center Coffee House will feature Portland singer-songwriter Anna Maria Tocci at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 8. “Anna Maria’s voice comes through on her songs as her most valuable asset; it is clear, strong and textured, and is evocative of a violin, with its inflections and subtle changes in tone and timbre,” said Bob McKillop of the Maine Songwriters Association. “Her guitar playing makes room for that beautiful voice and is a simple and elegant accompaniment.”

Performing at 7:30 p.m. will be Vanessa Torres & Touching Ground. A Portland-based singer-songwriter and guitarist will come together with hand drums, mandolin and bass guitar mixed with solid two- and three-part harmonies to deliver a folk sound with a bluegrass flair and a social message.
