Auburn – The Bible Bookstore and Gift Center, which has been a community staple for 35 years, has new owners, Greg and Cherie Garnett.

Cherie has added new giftware lines and will be putting in more lifestyle items for the 15- to 30-year-olds. The store has a new wedding area with accessories and gifts. Bibles, music, church supplies and other customary items are still available.

The Garnetts plan a June 4-11 grand opening. Both Saturdays will feature various live entertainment, from puppets to balloon animals. There will be hourly giveaways and a grand prize drawing. Friday night, June 10, is Youth Night, featuring games and prizes, a Christian DJ and acoustic worship.
