WILTON – Jim Alexander, a member at Wilson Lake Country Club, recorded his second career hole-in-one on his home course June 5. He used a 5-wood on the 168-yard #2 hole. Playing partner was Tom Fifield.

Other Wilson Lake news: Wilken’s Memorial Tournament will take place June 11-12. It’s a net tourney and members can play either day. . . Member-Member Tournament is set for June 18-19. Format for the 2-person teams will be alternating shots for 9 holes, and 2-man scramble for 9 holes Saturday, and best ball on Sunday. The course is not closed to the public during these tourneys. . . Thursday Night Men’s League will begin June 30. Members can register in the Pro Shop. . . Monday Night Scrambles will begin June 13 at 5:15. . . Ladies Association will play 18 holes every Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m.. . . Tee times will be required beginning Friday, June 17, from opening until 2 p.m. each day.

Tourney is planned

FARMINGTON – Western Mountains Hockey & Skating Association will host the third annual Golf Scramble on Sunday, June 26 at 1:30 at Sandy River Golf Course.

A team will consist of 5 golfers at $25 per player. Food will be provided following the tourney and trophies will be awarded. To register call 778-2492.
