LEWISTON – The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will offer workshops on “The Essentials of College Planning,” this month.
A session will be held from 10 am. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Drive.
Another workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 22, at the Lewiston CareerCenter.
Adviser Christy Le will lead the sessions.

Adults considering college are invited to participate in the workshops. Unlike student financial aid programs, which help students overcome financial barriers to higher education, the center has been providing support services to help students from low income and working families successfully enter college since 1991.
