HEBRON – Many athletes were recognized as Hebron Academy held its Spring Sports Awards Ceremony recently.

Recognized were both the softball and girls lacrosse teams that won the MAISAD league title on May 21. In girls tennis, Kasey Boucher of Lewiston won the MAISAD singles tournament. Several competitors took first place in events at the MAISAD track and field championship, as follows: Elena Haynes, Skowhegan, pole vault, javelin; Katherine Stewart, New Gloucester, high jump; Henry Ndikum, Augusta, long jump; Jonathan Phillips, Auburn, triple jump. Following are individual awards presented:

Girls Varsity Lacrosse: MVP, Antonina Planson, New Gloucester; Coach’s Award, Liane Quenneville, Quebec; All-MAISAD, Stephanie Roy, New Brunswick; Madison Campbell, Arundel; Taylor Fey, Raymond.

Softball: MVP, Tiffany Bichrest, Harpswell; Coach’s Award, Samantha Baril, Hebron; Sarah Irish, Buckfield; Megan Irving, Cumberland; All-MAISAD, Katherine Cole, New Gloucester; Tiffany Bichrest, Sarah Irish, Megan Irving.
