LEWISTON – Recent games:

Major Division: Healey earned 2 wins, the first a 17-13 victory over Hannaford as Ian Theriault cracked 3 hits. K. Shrader was the winning pitcher. Elliot Chicoine collected 3 hits for the Grocers. Forrest Chicoine added 2. . . Shawn Ricker allowed just 3 hits, striking out 12, in pitching Healey to a 3-1 win over Cross Insurance. Connor Anthoine banged 2 hits and drove in 2 runs. Ricker had the other RBI. Cross hurler Ryan Lemelin fanned 9 in a fine effort.

Hannaford trimmed Cross 8-5 as Alex Chicoine pitched a complete game, striking out 11. Corey Adams ripped a key double. Matt Poto and Jacob Lajoie were repeat hitters. Cody Chapman hurled 5 strong innings for Cross. Troy Stickney rapped 2 hits.

D.A. Poussard Construction edged Rowe 4-2 as Coby Poussard pitched the entire game, fanning 8. Chris Madden stroked a 2-bagger. Cam Morin and Nate Berube had key hits. Joe Sullivan and pitcher Zack Parker led Rowe.

Minor Division: A Scrapbook Affair edged Labadie’s Bakery 1-0 as Zack McBride whacked a crucial double. McBride and Anthony Duck shared the pitching duties. . . A Scrapbook Affair also beat United 6-3 as Evan Bourassa and Nick Boom combined for 14 strikeouts and both had key hits. Duck and McBride were repeat hitters. Ty Murphy collected the lone hit for United. Cameron Copeland pitched well.

Chick-A-Dee defeated Heutz Oil 11-1 as Connor Perron ripped 2 doubles and knocked in 5 runs. Corey Alexander made a fine defensive play for the Oilers.
