PARIS – The Maine Educational Opportunity Center will hold a workshop, “The Essentials for College Planning,” during June in Oxford County.

The session will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 24, at University College at Rumford/Mexico, 13 Brown St., Mexico. Christy Le will lead the session.

Adults considering college are invited to participate in the free workshop. Unlike student financial aid programs, which help students overcome financial barriers to higher education, the center has been providing support services to help students from low income and working families successfully enter college since 1991.
