Lee Hutchinson has received recognition as a Presidential Scholar at the University of Maine in Orono. The criteria for recognition as a Presidential Scholar includes having earned a semester grade point average of over 3.5 and above, a 3.0 cumulative grade point average for the last two semesters. He has also been placed on the dean’s list in the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry and Agriculture. Lee is pursing a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He is the son of Lori and Jerry Hutchinson of Jay.
