FARMINGTON – American Red Cross blood drives will take place in two Franklin County locations at the beginning of July.

Franklin Memorial Hospital will host a blood drive from noon to 6 p.m. Friday, July 1, in the Bass Room, 111 Franklin Health Commons. All donors will receive a T-shirt.

A Wilton Community Blood Drive will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at St. Luke’s Church, High Street. All donors will also receive a T-shirt.

To donate blood, individuals must be at least age 17, 110 pounds and be in general good health. Donors can give blood every eight weeks or six times a year.
