WATERFORD – Waterford PTO will sponsor a noontime July 4 Duck Race with proceeds to be used for a school sign. Cost is $5 a duck or five ducks for $20. The race will be held at Kedar Brook next to Kedarburn Inn after the parade.

Ducks are on sale at Melby’s, Springers and on the Common on July 4, or call Nancy Forest at 583-6551.

Public supper

NORTH WATERFORD – The Rev. George Frobig invites everyone to attend a public supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, at the North Waterford Congregational Church, Five Kezars Road. The menu will include baked beans, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, brown bread, rolls, beverages and strawberry shortcake. The price for adults is $7, children under 12, $3.50.

NORWAY – Registration for the Norway-Paris Swim Program, Norway Library Summer Reading Program and Child ID Program will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Monday, June 27, at the Guy E Rowe Elementary School.
